Blood drives are an opportunity to give that which you have plenty off, “life’.
You don’t need to be gifted, rich or famous nor are required to have a degree in anything, all you need is to be healthy and fit enough to give a little of your blood. It is the most selfless acts a human can give that also brings a great satisfaction, for knowing that you are giving someone you’ve never met a chance to see one more day.
Blood drives happen all the time, all over the world, it really doesn’t matter where you do it as long as you do it and pass it on, let others into it friends colleagues and family, let them know what you are doing and help them loose all fears and come along and join you.
You can donate anytime in a blood bank, and blood drives are actually events held at blood banks or other places where people organise themselves as volunteers and set up drives where you can also donate.
If you can’t make it to the WBD be sure to visit any other blood bank and add up to the ones that are helping.
